BIOGRAPHY
- Jane is a Southern California native, earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in San Marcos, CA, where she received the “Outstanding Physical Therapy Student” award. Jane has experience in a variety of healthcare settings working with adolescents to the geriatric population in inpatient acute care, orthopedics, sports, neurorehabilitation, pediatrics, vestibular rehabilitation, and movement disorders. As a competitive figure skater, ballet dancer, and gymnast for 15 years, she provides her patients with the same level of dedication and integrates her knowledge of movement science to create an effective individualized rehabilitation program that is customized to your lifestyle.
Jane is passionate about continued education as a way to remain at the forefront of the physical therapy profession and in providing the best patient care. As a lifelong learner, she currently maintains several certifications: PWR! (Parkinson Wellness Recovery) Moves Certified Therapist, Neuromuscular Taping Certified Specialist, IASTM level 1 Practitioner, and Healthcare Providers Concussion certification. She also has had research published, “Case Study: Efficacy of Physical therapy on a Patient with CVA in Normalizing Gait and Shoulder Mechanics”, which focused on identifying exact physical therapy interventions that could restore functional mobility in stroke patients. Beyond the clinic, she serves on several committees and organizations within the California Physical Therapy Association (CPTA).
In her free time, Jane enjoys hiking, traveling, paddleboarding, skateboarding at the beach, yoga, trying different foods, and spending time with loved ones!
