- Stanley is originally from Southern California who earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, TX. He has worked with a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions including Parkinson’s Disease and Guillain-Barre Syndrome. While in school, he also had the opportunity to participate in High Intensity Interval Training Boxing with Parkinson’s patients.
His clinical rotations have taken him across the U.S., which is where Stanley got his first experience with aquatic rehabilitation therapy. Being an avid swimmer himself, Stanley naturally fell in love with the idea of combining his background in aquatics along with his knowledge of the human body. With that, Stanley hopes to instill the strength and confidence in his patients to return to a lifestyle they choose.
While Stanley loves a good hike or longboarding along the pier, his current hobbies include concocting the perfect pour-over coffee and discovering new places to eat. He also hopes to return to bouldering/rock climbing in the future.
